Things I learned from CNN during the Zimmerman trial….

I’m not going to rehash the Zimmerman trial.  It’s not worth it.  If your reading this and don’t live under a rock chances are you have your mind made up one way or another on the case.  I for one try to never get wrapped up in a court case that has no immediate bearing on my day to day life.  I don’t think it’s healthy to latch on to any sensationalized court case.  None of us actually know what happened the night Trayvon Martin died.  Because none of us were there.  That’s a FACT.  Unless George Zimmerman or a resident of that neighborhood is reading this.  To say otherwise is intellectually dishonest or your lying to yourself.  We only “know” what we were told by our media outlet of choice OR if we watched the entire trial like none of us did you know as much as anyone ever will.  But Zimmerman was found not guilty (as I predicted) last Saturday.   What I did learn from CNN is that if your half Jewish and half Peruvian as George Zimmerman is you qualify for a previously unknown minority group the “White Hispanic“.  I also learned from Precious last night on Piers Morgan what another previously unknown minority is, the “Chino N*gga”.   You can’t make this stuff up.

Also in the aftermath of  the verdict  I saw this gem on twitter- “You should burn your neighborhood to the ground when things don’t go your way.” – Ghandi

I admit it that made me laugh.  What an odd way to seek “Justice” I thought.  Burning cars and wrecking stores in ones community, three thousand miles from Sanford, FL.
